Once the marks are in, the statistics for a test tell you a lot — but reading a page of numbers to work out where your class actually struggled takes time. There's now a shortcut.
At the top of the Statistics tab you'll find a new Summary card. Choose Generate summary and Examplary reads the aggregated results for the test and writes a short, plain-language rundown: the main concern, anything else that's notable, and the specific questions behind each point. You don't have to finish reviewing every answer first — it works with whatever is already graded.
It can also propose suggested groups — Reteach, Practice and Stretch — sorting students by the struggles they share, so you can see at a glance who needs another round on a topic and who's ready for more of a challenge.
Your students' privacy is built in: the summary is generated from aggregated statistics only, and no student names are ever sent to the AI — students appear as anonymous indexes and are matched back to their results on our side. If the results change after a summary is written, we'll flag it so you can update it in a click.
The written summary is available on every plan; suggested groups are part of our paid plans. As with any AI, it's there to give you a head start — double-check before you act on it.
