    Choose which comments students see

When you're marking, not every comment is meant for the student — some are just quick notes between you and your co-teachers. Every grading comment now carries a visibility setting, so you decide exactly what gets shared.

Each comment you leave starts out Internal, visible only to you and your colleagues. Flip the switch to Public and it becomes part of the feedback the student sees. A small eye icon next to each comment shows its status at a glance, so there's never any doubt about what's on show.

Replies follow their parent comment, and changing a comment's visibility takes its replies along with it — mark a thread public and the whole conversation goes with it. When you share results with students, only your public comments are included; everything you kept internal stays behind the scenes.
