See and restore earlier versions of a test

Editing the questions in a test used to be a one-way street: reword or delete a question and the previous version was gone. Now Examplary keeps a history of your questions, so you can look back and bring an earlier version back.

Open the ⋯ menu above your questions in the editor and choose View history. Expand a version to see which questions were added, removed or edited. Select Restore to bring those questions back after confirming your choice.

Only the questions are versioned — the test's title, settings and sharing stay untouched. Anyone who can open the test can browse its history; restoring needs edit access, and versions are kept for six months.
