If you grade out of 10, the grade used to be a straight percentage of the points, divided by 10. That's still the default — but now you can pick the formula that matches how your school actually grades.
In a test's grading settings, set Grade calculation to one of three options: the plain percentage, an N-term (the CvTE formula for central exams, with your own N), or a pass mark — a cesuur where you set the percentage of points that earns a 5.5. As you adjust it, Examplary shows how many of your graded students would pass, so you can see the effect before you commit.
The same calculation is used when you publish grades to your school's gradebook.
