Importing users from a CSV used to create their accounts quietly — everyone was added, but nobody heard about it until you let them know some other way. Now Examplary can send the invites for you, right as the import runs.
In Account → Users → Import, the CSV dialog has a new Send invite emails to new users toggle, switched on by default. Everyone new gets the same invite they'd get if you added them by hand: colleagues a workspace invite, students a link to sign in. People already in your workspace are never emailed, so re-importing a list won't pester anyone twice.
Prefer to invite people later, or on your own schedule? Flip the toggle off and the import stays silent. The full column reference is in the import guide.
