    Marketing Manager

    Full-timeRemote · Arnhem / London

    The role

You'll build, shape and own marketing at Examplary. In this, you work closely with product and development, understand what we're building and why, and translate that into campaigns, content, growth.

Together with sales, you turn interest into leads and leads into customers. This is your chance to build a full marketing operation from the ground up for a startup that's on a mission to become a leading AI-powered platform in education.

In this role, you'll take on a marketing intern to assist you.

    What you'll do

    • Define, execute and analyze our marketing strategy across all channels. Create and run campaigns, and proactively communicate what you need to make them succeed.
    • Create and manage our content pipeline: blog posts, newsletters, social media, video. Conduct interviews and produce thought leadership content about AI in education. Experiment with new formats and channels.
    • Build landing pages and optimize conversion. Create and leverage partnerships with organizations in education to grow our reach and integrate our product.
    • Represent Examplary at conferences and events where it matters, organize webinars and work closely with sales to generate and nurture leads.
    • Guide and collaborate with our marketing intern.
    • You actively use and test Examplary, and think alongside the rest of the team about the roadmap, its features and what works as well as doesn't work. We're a product-focused organization, and that's reflected in every role.

Most importantly: help build a full-scale marketing operation from the ground up.

    What a day looks like

    • Morning: quick team sync, then reviewing last month's campaign data.
    • Mid-morning: review the intern's blog post about how AI is changing open-question grading. Later: walk the rest of the team through an update of the marketing strategy.
    • After lunch: recording a short video walkthrough of a new feature. Later: join a call with a school board interested in Examplary.
    • End of day: sketching out next month's content calendar with the intern.

No two days are alike, and you're free to plan your work as it suits you.

    What we offer

    • Real freedom in how, when, and where you work. We care about our culture and your wellbeing, while being result-driven.
    • A market-competitive salary.
    • Five weeks of paid vacation, and more when you need it.
    • A remote-first culture with access to our offices in Arnhem and London.
    • A small, close-knit team where your work has direct, visible impact.

With this position, you get the chance to shape a fast-growing product that genuinely empowers teachers, and grow your role alongside it.

    What we're looking for

    • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, edtech, and/or B2B. Proven ability to work independently and drive results.
    • Fluent in English and Dutch. Strong instinct for brand voice and storytelling.
    • Comfortable with data-driven decision making, running ads, SEO and marketing tools (analytics, email). You dare to experiment, with video, new channels, bold campaigns.
    • Deep interest in AI and active experience using AI for marketing automation where it adds value. Experience in education is a strong plus.

All in all, we're searching for someone who communicates clearly, but doesn't need daily instructions or a team lead. We'd rather have you try something new on your own initiative and fail, than not try it at all.
