    Sales Manager (Secondary & Vocational)

    Full-timeRemote · Arnhem / London

    The role

Your primary focus is secondary schools, school groups, and vocational institutions with a focus on the Netherlands, but you go where the opportunities are.

Exam training bureaus, language schools, assessment agencies: if they need better testing tools, they're in your scope. This role encompasses the whole trajectory from first contact to full implementation.

    What you'll do

    • Approach schools, school groups, vocational institutions, and any other organization where assessment matters. Give compelling presentations and product demos.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from first lead to implementation. Respond to and apply on tenders when applicable. Build lasting relationships with educators and decision-makers.
    • Collaborate with our partners on joint opportunities. Work with marketing on campaigns, outreach, and lead generation. Provide a continuous feedback loop to product development and share what you hear in the field, suggest features, report bugs.
    • You actively use and test Examplary, and think alongside the rest of the team about the roadmap, its features and what works as well as doesn't work. We're a product-focused organization, and that's reflected in every role.

Most importantly: help build a serious, scalable sales operation from the ground up.

    What a day looks like

    • Morning: team check-in, then following up with a school group that saw last week's demo.
    • Mid-morning: preparing a presentation for a visit to a vocational college.
    • After lunch: on the road — giving a live demo to an assessment team. Later: updating the CRM and sharing product feedback with the development team.
    • End of day: brainstorming a joint webinar with Lyceo.

No two days are alike, and you're free to plan your work as it suits you.

    What we offer

    • Real freedom in how, when, and where you work. We care about our culture and your wellbeing, while being result-driven.
    • A market-competitive salary.
    • Five weeks of paid vacation, and more when you need it.
    • A remote-first culture with access to our offices in Arnhem and London.
    • A small, close-knit team where your work has direct, visible impact.

With this position, you get the chance to shape a fast-growing product that genuinely empowers teachers, and grow your role alongside it.

    What we're looking for

    • Proven sales experience: you've closed deals, managed pipelines, and know what it takes to hit targets. At least 2+ years in a sales role, ideally in education and/or SaaS.
    • Deep understanding of the Dutch education system, specifically secondary and vocational education. Fluent in Dutch and English.
    • Results-driven: you take ownership and are energized by turning leads into customers. Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
    • Comfortable working autonomously and remotely.
    • Genuine passion for education and a belief that AI can make a real difference.
    • Experience with AI tools in your own work is important.

All in all, we're searching for someone who communicates clearly, but doesn't need daily instructions or a team lead. We'd rather have you try something new on your own initiative and fail, than not try it at all.
