You set a maximum recording length appropriate to the task — 60–120 seconds suits short spoken answers, up to 300 seconds for longer oral explanations. Students need a device with a microphone. Plan for roughly 5 minutes per question.
The recording is transcribed and graded by AI against your scoring criteria, with your review. You can also listen to the original recording while grading — useful when pronunciation or delivery is part of the assessment.
