If your school delivers tests in Woots or Ans, you can write the questions in Examplary and send them to a question bank there with Share → Export. An admin enables the integration once, and each teacher connects their own account with an API token. You then put the test itself together in Woots or Ans.
That way you use Examplary's AI test generator for your own materials to write the questions, and Woots or Ans to deliver them.
The Woots and Ans integrations are available on the Teacher and Organization plans.
Step 1: an admin enables the integration
As an admin, go to Account settings → Workspace → Integrations and click Enable next to Woots or Ans. There's nothing to fill in. Woots and Ans are enabled separately.
Step 2: each teacher connects their own account
After that, each teacher connects their own account under Account settings → Personal → My integrations. You can also do this the first time you send a test.
- Click Enable next to Woots or Ans.
- Paste your API token. You'll find it in your Woots or Ans account settings, and Examplary links you straight to the right page.
- Examplary checks that the token works.
Send a test to Woots or Ans
- In the test, click Share → Export and choose Woots or Ans. The same option is in a test's menu in your list of tests.
- Choose the Question bank the questions should go to.
- Click Send. Examplary shows Sending your test. This can take a minute.
- When it's done, you'll see Your test has been sent. View on Woots (or View on Ans) opens the question bank.
The questions arrive as separate exercises in the question bank, and you put the test together in Woots or Ans. Practice spaces can't be sent.

Images and formulas come across. Rubrics, AI instructions, feedback, labels, the introduction and the outro don't. A Paragraph, a block of text above several questions, arrives as an open question: delete it in Woots or Ans, or convert it. You grade open questions in Woots or Ans yourself: Examplary's AI doesn't suggest grades there.
Nothing comes back: results from Woots or Ans don't show up in Examplary. If you send a test again, its questions are added again, which can leave you with duplicates.
After sending, go through the questions and the points per question in Woots or Ans.
Troubleshooting
Woots or Ans isn't in the Export menu. Your admin hasn't enabled the integration yet, or it isn't included in your plan.
I get "Woots did not accept the provided API token" (or the same for Ans). The token is wrong or has expired. Create a new token in Woots or Ans and paste it into Examplary.
I get "Could not load the export options". Your token has probably been revoked. Go to My integrations, choose Manage, then Update.
There's no question bank in the list. Create a question bank in Woots or Ans first.
I see "Sending your test failed. Please try again." Try again. Also read any messages from Woots or Ans shown below it.
